Twenty years ago, a baby was abandoned at the Thinh Dai Temple in Northern Vietnam. A monk living at the temple took it upon himself to raise the baby as his own. Today, his family of orphans has grown to over 30 kids. While living in Asia in 2015, I visited the temple and documented the lives of these charismatic individuals. A photo exhibit was held in Hanoi, Viet Nam, and all proceeds went to the kids.

In 2016, I collaborated with the North Bay Organizing Project on a photo series that highlighted the lives of senior citizens affected by the Sonoma County Housing Crisis.
